Drivers in the Cranberry area should pay particular attention to residential speed limits this week.
Cranberry Township’s Slow Down Campaign is designed to raise awareness of 25-mile-per-hour speed limits at the end of the school year as more kids are out and about.
Yard signs and electronic speed monitors will go up in 23 neighborhoods in the area along with increased police patrols. The Cranberry Township Community Chest is helping to pay for the costs of the campaign.
A second Slow Down Campaign will be held the week of August 24th as school goes back in session.
