Students and faculty from institutions around the world will gather at Slippery Rock University to talk about the economy beginning Thursday.
The 2016 Pennsylvania Economic Association Conference runs through Saturday at the Smith Student Center.
Over 90 participants from 30 organizations will discuss a wide range of topics including the effects of Marcellus Shale gas drilling, economic development, climate change, and health care costs.
Those attending will have the chance to listen to keynote speakers as well as present original research that will allow for a transition to graduate school or into career employment.
