Several fire departments were called out for a grass fire in Concord Township Wednesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 3 p.m. for the fire on Spitzer Road off Buckeye Road.
The fire reportedly began with a mattress on fire on the side of the road before the fire spread to over two acres of brush in the area.
Units from Chicora and North Washington were on that scene for about an hour.
