An early morning problem with a boiler is causing some issues at the Salvation Army in Butler.
Firefighters were sent to the building on West Cunningham Street about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday for reports of smoke.
A Salvation Army employee says a malfunctioning boiler caused the smoke and also knocked out the building’s power and phone service.
Officials say the center will likely be closed through Friday as crews make repairs.
