The Butler BlueSox fell to the visiting Terre Haute Rex on Saturday night by a final of 14-7.
The host BlueSox struck first with a run in the bottom of the first, but had a tough time defensively throughout the rest of the evening. Sox DH Joey Luciana was solid at the plate in the loss, going two-for-three at the plate with a triple and four RBIs. Second year Sox utility man Tyler Sullivan also collected two RBI.
The BlueSox will continue their homestand on Sunday with the first vintage game of the 2016 season. First pitch will be at 6:35pm.
