Fishers across the state of Pennsylvania will be out on the waterways today, as it is Fish for Free Day.
These statewide events, which are one of several that are held throughout the calendar year, allow fishers to fish on Pennsylvania’s waterways without licenses.
These Fish for Free Days also allow fishers to fish for trout, salmon, and to fish on Lake Erie for no charge. However, fishers are reminded that all fishing rules and regulations still apply.
