If you have an old car seat sitting around, Cranberry Township EMS will dispose of it for you.
An Old Car Seat Take Back collection will take place Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Cranberry EMS on Route 19.
Car seats can deteriorate with use and most have expiration dates. If there is no date, seats older than seven years are considered unsafe.
People can just drive up and drop off the seat or stick around for a tour of an ambulance.
