The Fire Marshall in Butler is investigating the origin and cause of a fire which destroyed a 2015 GMC Sierra Truck on May 6, 2016.
The fire happened on Stucky Rd at Creek Rd in Forward Twp., Butler County and was determined to have been set intentionally. The owner, Zachary Older of Renfrew, PA suffered minor injuries in the fire but did not seek medical treatment. The Fire Marshall is attempting to identify a vehicle that was at the scene shortly before the fire was set. It is described as an older mid 90’s beat up Jeep Cherokee, red or orange in color.
A reward of $2,000 is being offered to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
