An event this weekend will take those attending on a journey back to Pennsylvania’s oil drilling past.
Volunteers from the Moraine, McConnells Mill, Jennings Commission will be operating the Muddy Creek Oil Well from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday off Park Road at the Prospect exit to Moraine State Park.
This living history exhibit of an antique Bessemer Gas Engine has been restored and is fully operational. Those operating the equipment will also be able to answer questions.
Free refreshments will be provided. Visit 3mjc.org for more information.
