A Slippery Rock University group is presenting a free seminar Friday in Cranberry Township.
The university’s Government Contracting Assistance Center has scheduled a presentation called “Are You Ready? Understanding the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Procedures” for 8:30 a.m. at the Regional Learning Alliance.
The Pittsburgh District of the Corps of Engineers provides design, construction, operations and maintenance services to parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and New York. They are also responsible for flood damage reduction, environmental restoration, and emergency response.
Businesses can contract with the Corps of Engineers in areas like construction, architecture, environmental, fabrication, or facility maintenance services.
