A Mercer County man is facing numerous charges after an investigation into a kidnapping and rape earlier this month.
According to State Police, 26-year-old Kyle Watt of Greenville allegedly restrained a 16-year-old juvenile victim in his Otter Creek Township residence May 7th for a period of about 24 hours.
During that time Watt allegedly refused to let the girl leave his room and took her cell phone. Police say he also hit, raped, and threatened the girl.
Watt was taken into custody last Monday (5/16) and booked into the Mercer County Jail on charges including Kidnapping, Rape, Unlawful Restraint, and Sexual Assault. This investigation is ongoing.
