The Butler Area School District has delayed their decision about a food service provider for at least another month.
During a meeting Monday, the board approved an extension of the deal with current food service employees that pushed the deadline for a decision back from June 1st to June 30th.
The board had three outside food service providers make presentations to them last week but determined they needed more information about guarantees before they could narrow their choices.
If the board does choose one company, the current food service workers union will have a chance to counter whatever proposal has been made. An additional special meeting could take place but a decision is expected sometime in June.
