Butler Township is selling several excess vehicles and some equipment that is no longer needed.
Township Manager Ed Kirkwood opened numerous bids during a meeting Monday and subsequently, the township commissioners made the decision to sell items including a 2012 Chevy Impala, a 2013 Ford Interceptor and six snowplows.
The winning bid for an asphalt roller at $7,500 came from Clay Township. The top bid for a John Deere Road Grater came from Donegal Township at a price of just over $25,000.
Butler Township will collect nearly $43,000 total for the items they put out to bid this month.
