Several local young people are among those selected as scholarship winners by Central Electric Cooperative.
2016 Good Neighbor Scholarship winners include Hayley Kepple and Erika Boice from Karns City Area High School, Elijah Grochalski from Butler Area High School, and James Pierre and Emily Sippy from Mars Area High School.
These students and ten others will each receive a $2,000 scholarship to further their education courtesy of CEC’s unclaimed capital credits.
Selection was based on merit for non-paid service to community, church, and school. Scholarship opportunities are available to all age groups looking to continue their education.
