The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at the Consol Energy Center for game two of their Eastern Conference final. Face-off is 8:10pm. Hear the game on WISR 680am beginning at 7:30pm. Tampa Bay leads the series after a 3-1 victory in the opening game Friday.
Penguins defensemen Kris Letang and Brian Doumalin will both play in the game, despite questionable hits suffered into the boards during game one. Both left the ice after sustaining the hits. No Tampa Bay players were given hearings by the NHL despite the hits, which were penalized in the game. There was much thought the Lightning’s Ryan Callahan would receive a suspension, but that did not transpire.
In the Western Conference final, St. Louis defeated San Jose 2-1 last night to take a 1-0 series lead.
