Seven Volunteer Fire Departments were called to a fire on West Slippery Rock St in Chicora at about 1:40 p.m. Friday afternoon.
When they arrived at the scene they found an abandoned former train station fully engulfed in flames. Nobody was injured and it is unknown at this point what started the fire.
The building has reportedly not been used in decades.
