State police in Mercer were called to the scene of a one vehicle crash on May 10, 2016.
According to the police report 23-year-old Liam Flynn of Telluride Colorado was traveling on I-80 in Lackawannock Twp. when a dog ran onto the roadway and into the path of his vehicle.
Flynn swerved to miss the dog and struck the embankment in the center of the road with his front end. The car then rolled over onto its passenger side and came to a rest.
Nobody was injured in this accident and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
