Expect the task of traveling around the city of Butler to get even more difficult beginning next week.
According to PennDOT, nighttime lane restrictions will begin Sunday at 7:30 p.m. through 6:30 a.m. as crews from Folino Construction pave Main Street (Route 8).
The over $700,000 project will include milling, patching, and paving between the General Butler Bridge and just north of Penn Street. Drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention to flaggers and law enforcement.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of July.
