A local state representative is offering help for veterans at his office Friday.
Republican Representative Brian Ellis is hosting a department service officer with the American Legion on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at his office in Lyndora.
The officer will be able to help local veterans with compensation, pension, death benefits, education, and health care issues. Veterans do not have to be a member of the American Legion to take advantage of this help.
Ellis offers this assistance the second Friday of every month. For more information or to schedule an appointment, visit RepEllis.com.
