A Butler woman is facing several charges related to allegedly staying in a Dollar General store overnight.
According to a criminal complaint, 24-year-old Creanna Martin was in the downtown Butler Dollar General at 4 a.m. Tuesday (5/3) when a manager opened for a delivery truck.
Police apprehended Martin on Main Street after she left the store wearing sweatpants and slippers with the tags still on. The total value of items stolen was about $30 but Martin will be charged with felony burglary, felony, criminal trespass, and misdemeanor retail theft.
Martin has no prior retail theft convictions but she did plead guilty to streaking and identity theft on the campus of Slippery Rock University last year.
