Butler Township administrators are trying to eliminate damage to landscaping at the new Dick’s Sporting Goods due to delivery trucks.
Township Zoning Officer Jesse Hines said he was aware of the damage. He spoke to the owners of the property two weeks ago to remind them that all delivery trucks coming to Dick’s should be using Hindman Road behind Sheetz.
If the damage continues, the township could next speak to Dick’s directly or post signs at the New Castle Road entrance to the development.
The development is still under an improvement bond so that money could be used to repair the damage.
