Drivers are paying more money at the pump this week.
According to AAA, the average price of a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve is up nine cents to $2.39.
The average price in Butler County is even higher at $2.41.
AAA says gas prices are at their highest levels in more than six months and are increasing an average of about eight cents per gallon per week in many areas.
However, the average price at the pump in April was $2.10 per gallon, which is the lowest average for April since 2009 .
