The Pittsburgh Steelers selected a cornerback in the first round of the NFL Draft last night, for the first time since 1997, when they selected Artie Burns of Miami. Burns had a very impressive combine this spring, and led the ACC with six interceptions as a junior last season.
Quarterback Jared Goff of California was the first overall selection, taken by the Los Angeles Rams.
The draft continues tonight.
