The City of Butler has settled with a police officer who was fired earlier this year.
City Council voted to accept the settlement with Sgt. Ronald Fundark earlier this week and Fundark was expected to agree to the deal soon after.
No specific details were provided about the agreement or the reason for the termination. Hearings were held in January.
Fundark will receive a full pension as part of the agreement. He had been a city police officer for nearly 20 years.
