A former Butler County woman was arrested and charged with killing her infant daughter.
Police say 23-year-old Kayla Moore kicked her daughter Athena Wolfe multiple times in her head and body Sunday at their home in Bucks County before calling police.
The child was rushed to a nearby hospital where she later died.
When asked why she kicked the child, authorities say Moore claimed to be under stress and said she just ‘snapped.’
Moore is originally from Butler and has also lived in Ford City, Armstrong County. She now lives in Falls Township, Bucks County near Philadelphia.
She has been charged with homicide.
