The deadline for Butler City residents to pay their taxes at a discount is fast approaching.
According to City Treasurer John Grenci, Saturday (4/30) is the final day that taxes will be accepted at the discounted amount.
Payments at the discounted amount can be turned in at the city building drop box or postmarked by Saturday.
Beginning Sunday, tax payments will be accepted at the full face value for about two months before penalties for late payments begin to take effect.
