The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for our area.
The alert was issued at 2 p.m. and will be in effect until 9 p.m.
Counties under this watch include Butler, Allegheny, and Armstrong.
The National Weather Service puts the chance of storms at about 40%.
