The Pittsburgh Penguins will meet the Washington Capitals in the Eastern Conference semi-finals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs beginning this week. The Pens eliminated the New York Rangers in five games following a 6-3 victory Saturday. The Caps eliminated the Philadelphia Flyers in six games, with a 1-0 series-clinching win Sunday.
The schedule will be announced after the completion of the first round. Two Western Conference Series remain. The St. Louis Blues host the Chicago Blackhawks tonight in game seven of their series. Nashville is hosting Anaheim tonight in game six of their series. Anaheim leads 3-2.
