The final steel beam will be placed during a ceremony Thursday at the site of the Center City garage.
The public is welcome to attend the ceremony which will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Butler Mayor Tom Donaldson, former mayor Maggie Stock, and Parking Manager Jim Chiprean will be among those speaking at the event.
The project continues to be under budget and ahead of schedule as steel work was expected to continue into early May.
