Local firefighters were busy with a few brush fires around the Butler County area Wednesday afternoon.
The first fire was called in shortly before 1 p.m. in the area around West Eldorado Road and Sand Road in Parker Township.
Units from Bruin, North Washington, Eau Claire, Unionville and West Sunbury were among those bringing tankers, brush trucks, and all terrain vehicles to the scene.
Shortly after, emergency responders in the southern part of the county were called out to some mulch on fire along Route 228 in Cranberry Township. An additional mulch fire was reported along Route 19 just after 3 p.m.
No injuries or significant damage is reported to have resulted from any of these fires.
