The Butler Girl’s Track & Field team moved to 4-0 in WPIAL Class AAA Section-3 action yesterday be defeating the Shaler Titans by a score of 126.5 to 23.5. The girls won 17 of 18 events against the Titans. Emily Horstman won the 100, 200 and was part of a winning relay team. Horstman ran 12.1 in the 100. Julianna DiPippa won the long and triple jumps. Odile Enslen won the 100 Hurdles and also part of two winning relay teams. Alexis Leech won the 300 Hurdles with a great time of 47.3 and also part of the 4X400 relay team. Kelly Kabay was victorious in the 400 meters as was Jena Reinheimer in the discus. Maggie Welty won the 1600 while also being a part of the winning 4×800 relay.
Next meet is the Butler Invitational on Friday.
