The CEO of NexTier Bank has announced plans to retire.
Richard Krauland will step down later this year after 11 years as CEO and over 40 years in the financial services industry.
Krauland will stay on until a successor is named. The company has initiated a search process.
Krauland said this is a purely personal decision and he has been honored to be apart of the NexTier team. About to turn 63 years old, Krauland plans to use his retirement to pursue his hobbies of competitive bridge and golf.
