Butler Township has a new assistant manager.
After a lengthy search, Cheryl McNeill has accepted the position.
Township Manager Ed Krikwood says McNeill is a township resident and has over 20 years of experience in the areas she will be responsible for which include human resources, monitoring taxes and handling insurance.
McNeill will make slightly over $50,000 per year. She will begin her new position on Monday.
