After an Islanders loss to Philadelphia Sunday, the Penguins will face the New York Rangers again the in first round of the playoffs.
In the four matchups between the Pens and Rangers this year, the Pens have won three and outscored New York 12-9. Game one of the series will be Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. (WISR 680 AM & NBC Sports Network)
The Pens also called up Tristan Jarry from the minor leagues on Sunday. Jarry was drafted in 2013 and hasn’t played in an NHL game yet.
Coach Mike Sullivan said he may have an update on goalie Matt Murray today. Murrary left Saturday’s game with a suspected head injury. The status and return of goalie Marc Andre Fleury is still not known.
