A local organization is holding a fundraiser this weekend that will give participants the chance to win some money for themselves.
The Cranberry Township Noon Rotary Club is hosting a golf ball drop fundraiser at 3 p.m. Saturday as part of the Rose E. Schneider YMCA Healthy Kids Day Event.
A total of 1,000 tickets will be sold which correspond to balls that will be dumped on a field with a large target. Both the ball closest to the target as well as the one furthest away will win money. Proceeds benefit a variety of projects and organizations including the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign and the Cranberry Township Noon Rotary Club’s Suicide Prevention Project.
Tickets are $10 and multiple tickets can be purchased. Ticket holders don’t need to be present in order to win. Visit cranberryrotary.org for more information.
