The Mars Area School District has decided who will be building their two new softball fields.
A bid for construction services in the amount of $660,000 was accepted from Murin and Murin.
The softball fields will be built on either side of Officer Edward Brooks Drive which is the driveway connecting Route 228 to Mars Area Centennial School. The project will also include a parking lot area.
Construction is expected to begin later this month.
