A local school district is burying a time capsule Monday as part of their 50th anniversary celebration.
Seneca Valley School District is burying the items collected by building principals and administrators in a ceremony at 7:45 p.m.
Items to be buried include newspaper articles, flash drives, yearbooks and an ID badge. The capsule will be opened in 50 years.
Seneca Valley School District was established on July 1st, 1965 and was originally called Southwest Butler County School District.
