A local municipality is taking action to make sure that high quality water continues to be available to residents.
Cranberry Township has joined the Partnership for Safe Water which is an alliance formed 25 years ago by the American Water Works Association and other government agencies and non-profit organizations.
Participants in the voluntary partnership pledge to make improvements using data collection and peer review, implement recommendations, and maintain high standards.
The Cranberry Township water system serves 30,000 permanent residents and many more who commute to the area daily for work.
