There’s still time to register for a training program about trees to be held next week in Butler Township.
Penn State Extension is holding a Tree Tenders workshop on Friday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Park Building of Butler Township Park.
The goal of the workshop is to give interested residents the knowledge to restore and care for the trees in their communities.
Registration coast is $25 and includes lunch, a workbook, and other training materials. The deadline to sign up is Friday (4/1). Call 412-263-1000 or visit extension.psu.edu/tree-tenders.
