A Mercer County man has been charged following an incident where a child was thrown during wrestling practice last month.
According to State Police, 41-year-old Daniel Osborne of Stoneboro was holding a wrestling practice at Lakeview Elementary School on February 25th in his role as coach.
Osborne allegedly grabbed a 12-year-old boy by the ankles and threw him through the air so that he landed on his chest and head. Police say that Osborne then shouted profanities at the boy. The boy was not hurt.
Osborne was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct at the recommendation of the Mercer County District Attorney’s office.
