The deadline to file taxes is a little over two weeks away but many Pennsylvanians could have the option to file for free.
The public is invited to learn more at an event Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Center For Community Resources in downtown Butler.
U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly will be on hand to speak about the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and the File Free partnership between the IRS and tax preparation software companies.
People with incomes of $62,000 or less are likely eligible for one or both of these programs free of charge.
