Evans City Borough Councilwoman Linda Bicehouse unexpectedly died over the weekend.
Bicehouse had been a resident of Evans City for 45 years. She was elected to council in 2012 and won re-election last year to another four-year term.
She was the mother of Steve Bicehouse, the director of Butler County Emergency Services and the Evans City Volunteer Fire Department Chief.
The Boylan Funeral Home in Evans City will handle arrangements. Bicehouse was 67 years old.
