The city of Butler has released the streets that will be paved this year.
Portions of West Diamond, Spruce, East Penn, North Sixth, Old New Castle and Eisler streets will be paved by Wiest Paving at a cost of almost $124,000.
The City Redevelopment Authority is contracting to pave portions of Heim, Brugh, Pleasantview and East Boyd avenues, as well as Hickory Street.
The City of Butler Streets Department is also doing some paving in-house on Woodlawn and Goldwood avenues, in addition to Jackson Street and the ally between Oak and Monroe streets.
Crack sealing is scheduled to take place next month (4/4-4/19) and residents can expect paving to begin at the beginning of June and be completd by the end of that month, weather permitting.
Residents can call the city’s Pot Hole Hotline at 724-285-8440 if they see a spot that needs attention.
