Governor Tom Wolf will sign the latest budget proposed to him for the 2015-16 fiscal year.
In a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Wolf said that the budget and math used to arrive at the budget “doesn’t work” but “we need to keep our commonwealth working”.
Wolf also said that he hopes to work with the legislature toward a “responsible and balanced budget” in 2016-17.
The proposal passed by the Republican controlled state legislature is for $6.6 billion that had been line-item vetoed out of the partial budget that the governor signed in December.
