XTO Energy donated $30,000 to support energy training initiatives at Butler County Community College.
The money will be used toward curriculum development, equipment purchases and internship opportunities.
Since 2013, XTO has partnered with BC3 to develop a 24-credit energy technology workplace certificate that provides students with an understanding of the needs of the regional energy companies.
