If you frequently travel in northern Allegheny County, you’ll want to be aware of a closure beginning Tuesday.
The southbound ramp from Route 19 to McKnight Road in McCandless will close for 32 days.
The project is the first of two major PennDOT projects on McKnight Road scheduled this summer. The second will be the installation of adaptive traffic signals to improve traffic flow.
About 10,000 motorists a day use the Route 19 southbound ramp.
