Local teachers are welcome to apply for a series of grants available from Central Electric Cooperative.
The 2016 Bright Ideas Teacher Grant Program is dedicated to helping fund innovative, energy-related learning projects that go beyond available school funding. Goals for projects requesting funding must be clearly defined and measurable.
Teachers K-12 from schools in Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest and Venango Counties are eligible. Schools do not need to receive service from CEC and home school teachers are welcome.
Applications will be accepted through the end of August and awards will be given in October. Visit central.coop for more information.
