Applications are now being accepted for a summer camp for kids in Armstrong County.
The Kittanning Station of the PA State Police is sponsoring the 2016 Camp Cadet Program from July 17-22. The camp is for boys and girls ages 12 to 15 and is held at Lenape Technical School.
Kids attending the week-long camp will stay in the care of State Police officers and civilian counselors. Campers will be introduced to various law enforcement agencies and units of the state police. Kids will also tour the courthouse, participate in sports, and see demonstrations of first aid, fire rescue, and hazardous explosives.
