Police are still looking for a suspect they say is responsible for shooting a gun and threatening a man downtown earlier this week.
According to a criminal complaint, 29-year-old Trimayne Frankin (address unknown) showed up at a house in the 100 block of Sumner Avenue at 5 a.m. last Tuesday (3/15). Franklin allegedly pounded on the doors and windows while threatening to shoot up the house. Witnesses say he then fired a shot into the porch.
Police arrived on the scene and found another man who was with Franklin hiding nearby. That man was not charged.
Franklin remains wanted on charges including felony criminal trespass, felony terroristic threats, and misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
