Crews were busy around Butler County Wednesday afternoon because of windy conditions.
Calls for wires down or trees on wires came in from several areas including Clinton, Cranberry, Penn, Clearfield and Jefferson Townships between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
A tree also fell on a house in the 100 block of Butler Street in Adams Township around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
No one was injured.
Thursday will be a mild day with partly sunny skies and a high near 60. However, it will again be breezy. According to the National Weather Service, expect a west wind at 15 to 20 mph Thursday afternoon, with gusts as high as 38 mph.
